SCI Level 2
Human Regulation Foundations
A practical course in breathing, body awareness, and attention regulation using the SCI Coherence Triangle.
Human Regulation Foundations takes learners from awareness into action. This course teaches practical tools for stabilizing internal activation before stress becomes reactive behavior.
Ā
ACCESS THIS LEVELWhat This Course Helps You Understand
Once learners can recognize internal signals, the next step is learning how to work with them.
This course introduces the SCI Coherence Triangle: breathing, body awareness, and attention. Learners explore how these three pathways support regulation, recovery, and clearer responses during stress or pressure.
Who This Course Is For
This course is for learners who want to:
- Build practical regulation tools
- Reduce stress intensity before reacting
- Understand how breath affects activation
- Use body awareness to notice tension patterns
- Practice attention shifts during pressure
- Create more stable responses in real life
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this course, learners will be introduced to:
- The SCI Coherence Triangle
- Breathing as a regulation tool
- Body awareness and tension recognition
- Attention regulation
- Stress recovery practices
- Integrated regulation in everyday situations
What's Inside Level 2
Module 1:
Coherence Triangle
Introduces the main SCI regulation model: breathing, body awareness, and attention.
Learners explore how these three pathways work together to support internal stability. This module gives students a simple structure for understanding regulation, especially during stress, pressure, or emotionally charged moments.
Module 2:
Breathing Regulation
Shows how breath influences activation, stress intensity, and recovery.
Learners are introduced to breathing as a practical regulation tool. This module helps students understand how breathing patterns can either increase tension or support a calmer internal state.
Module 3:
Body Awareness Regulation
Teaches learners to detect tension, posture shifts, and body-based stress patterns. Students learn how the body often signals activation before the mind fully understands what is happening. This module helps learners notice physical cues earlier and begin working with the body instead of ignoring or overriding it.
Module 4: Attention Regulation
Builds the skill of widening focus and shifting attention during pressure.
Learners explore how stress can narrow attention and intensify interpretation. This module introduces attention regulation as a way to create more space, reduce emotional amplification, and support clearer decision-making.
Module 5: Integrated Regulation
Brings breathing, body awareness, and attention together into real-life application.
Students learn how to use the Coherence Triangle as a practical regulation process in everyday situations, including stress, communication, decision-making, and moments of emotional activation.
How This Level Fits Into the SCI Pathway
Level 2 builds on the awareness developed in Level 1. Once learners can recognize internal signals, they begin practicing ways to stabilize and regulate those signals.
